Venue
The conference will be held on the outskirts of the modern and cosmopolitan city of Barcelona. In addition to its incredible beauty, Barcelona offers conference participants the opportunity to experience its rich cultural heritage, history and great food - from tapas to paella.
Barcelona offers numerous attractions for tourists, from Roman forums to Gothic cathedrals. Gaudi's unique Modernisme creates eye candy for lovers of art and architecture. A combination of street performers, packed sidewalk cafes, beautifully cultivated gardens, museums, and a beautiful seafront make any visit to the city both invigorating and breathtaking. Nearby the city, you can find even more to inspire, such as the Roman Tarragona, the Dali museum, or the Catalan Romanesque, Montserrat.
The timing of the conference in late spring is the best time for a visit, as the summer heat and crowds have not yet arrived and vegetation is at its best. Weather in Barcelona in April is very pleasant, with air temperatures between 18 and 25 oC (65 and 77 oF) . Sea temperature is about 20 oC (68 oF).
The conference will take place at the Serhs Campus Hotel Campus of the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona. 08193 Bellaterra. Spain
